A common question asked when it comes to home composting is “are paper towels compostable?” In this section, we look at how paper towels are compostable (from regular white ones to brown recycled ones), to even what conditions they are compostable. A couple of tough questions are tackled, such as using paper towels that have been used to wipe chemicals off, and the balance of carbon and nitrogen rich materials.
