Looks like you’re on track. Good to see cross reference to hydro. In particular, knowing that other folks use their spent nutes on soil plants.

    Not if you have …

This is clear cut proof that the chemical industry is a sham when it comes to soil health.

    This is funny …
This is funny because I used to do the same thing. I had tomatoes growing outside though and they got completely out of control. The tallest plant was about 7-8 feet tall. Hydro nutes make for a great grow hydro setup or soil.

Great video. Your vegatable patch looks realy good. Is there any chance we could see your hydro set up?? I was thinking of experimenting with a hydro setup myself but I dont like the idea of chemicals for my stawberry’s. I was contemplating making a seaweed extract/fish emulshion/compost tea system to experiment with.

    Microbes don’t die …
Microbes don’t die at 24 hours. The organisms are constantly eating each other, that’s part of the nutrient cycling process and is highly desirable.

  23. YouAdamNazzkl0wn Says:

24 hours is all you …
24 hours is all you need. The microbes start to die off and/or eat each other after that.
And just 1 teaspoon of molasses is fine.

put the air stone inside the bag- some bags actually have too small a mesh and don’t let the microbes out. a paint strainer is a good bag.

    Nice vid!
    Rock on mang!!!

    top feed in your …
top feed in your hydro just a little bit compost tea gos a long way also, spray on leaves, and clone dunk is awsome. Too much nitrogen in solution can kill microbes keep in mind, i’m not saying alfalfa is wrong but rain water has too much nitrogen just from falling through the atmosphere any other questions just ask. p.s. I am opening a compost tea store in California.
